Why do we need to help?

For many children in the countryside of under development countries, education is an unattainable dream.

Without help, many children and youths, whose families are poor, would never step foot into a classroom or training for future survival and in contrast they turn to crime, drug abuse, early marriage and prostitution.

With the help of generous contributions, LHI will sponsor hundreds of children, giving them an education – the foundation for a future.

A small regular donation can provide a child with year-round scholastic materials and tuition

Uganda hosts one of the biggest percentage of refugees in the world and more continue to arrive. Many have experienced extreme violence. They have been welcomed into some of the poorest parts of the country, putting further strain on already limited resources in host communities.Yet, most children are not getting the education they deserve
:

LHI plans to get educated at least 50 vulnerable refugee children who are not yet attending studies in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, Uganda and wishes to send them to school in January 2021. This means that they are 7 years old and above who never attended studies or were dropped out as a result of being orphans or neediest.

LHI is committed together with sponsors and donors to give them hope for a better life, giving them an education – the foundation for a future. A small regular donation and generous contributions can provide a child with year-round scholastic materials and tuition.

The cost for a single student is at least $100 per year, meaning that LHI will use $5,000 to cover all the the tuition fees, Uniform and Books for those 50 children in 2021.

Do you want to be one of the supporters of these children so that their lives will be changed to be better?
