Jeanette endured one of the worst impossible episode a human being can get through. She eye-witnessed her nine sons’ brutal death that also took her lovable husband’s life on the same hour, and same spot before her two eyes. She saw them choking out of blood and without anyone to help.
With the assistance of an International rescue team she survived the tragedy to a secured refugee camp in Uganda.
Her original shelter was damaged by windstorms and because she felt unsecured in Sweswe zone, where she was relocated she displaced to Itambabiniga where she lives now with the support of a local church that temporarily provided a very old and leaking house. Her great desire is to own once in life a decent and secured shelter as well as education fund for her granddaughter whom she lives with.
