Shelter is a basic human need crucial for survival in cases of natural hazards or conflict. It provides security, personal safety and protection from the weather, and prevents ill health and disease. Adequate housing provides people with dignity and the opportunity to lead a normal life.
In Kyaka Refugee Settlement, they are many vulnerable families living in high risk shelters and the situation is worse within this rainy season.
LHI team is doing a hard field work of assessing and advocating for most vulnerable families in need of shelters in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement.
LHI advocacy program include requesting support to anyone who is able to support for this good cause of providing these families with better shelters.
