Linda is a Congolese national and the third of seven children in her family. The family’s livelihood relies on a small plot of land provided by OPM, measuring 30 meters by 4, where her parents plant greens for survival.Recently, Linda’s parents were removed from the WFP assistance (ration), leaving them to live as citizens rather than refugees. This has created significant financial instability for the family, making it difficult to support Linda’s education and that of her six siblings. Thankfully, LHI has stepped in to support Linda, who has been receiving assistance since she was in P2 at Bujubuli Primary School.Linda is a quiet, thoughtful child who loves to wear pants to church. She enjoys singing and praying, finding peace in her faith. Linda dreams of becoming a lawyer to defend human rights and advocate for her family’s well-being.
