In Canada’s increasingly digital economy, 40% of the population lacks the basic digital skills needed to engage fully in the workforce, access services, and participate in social and economic opportunities. This skills gap particularly affects marginalized groups, limiting their employment prospects, social inclusion, and access to essential resources. Bridging this divide is critical to ensuring that all Canadians, especially newcomers, can thrive in today’s technology-driven world. Empowering these communities with foundational digital literacy is essential for promoting equity, economic empowerment, and a more inclusive society.
Let’s Help International (LHI) invites people in Canada to join our Online ICT Capacity-Building Program! Gain essential digital skills tailored to support newcomer communities across Canada. In today’s world, digital literacy is crucial for personal and professional growth. This program equips you to thrive in the workforce, engage with social networks, and access vital resources.

Course Offerings (1 Month Program): Each program runs 2 hours daily, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM:
- Introduction to Computers – Hardware, software, program use (Week 1)
- Microsoft Office Word & Excel (Weeks 1 & 2)
- PowerPoint & Google Apps – Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms (Week 3)
- Effective Online Communication – Email, social media, video conferencing (Week 3)
- Keyboarding and Typing Skills (Week 4)
