Let’s Help International (LHI) engages in Advocacy by leveraging its digital media division, Refugees’ TV and Stories Worldwide (RTSW), to amplify the voices of refugees and promote critical humanitarian agendas. Through media and storytelling, LHI focuses on:
- Raising Awareness: Highlighting the lived experiences, challenges, and aspirations of refugees to ensure accurate and authentic representation of their stories and contexts.
- Promoting the Localization Agenda: Strengthening the role and capacity of local actors in refugee settings, emphasizing the importance of community-led solutions for sustainable humanitarian efforts.
- Strengthening Local Capacities: Providing tools and training for local actors and refugees to effectively use media for storytelling, advocacy, and engagement in humanitarian efforts.
- Advocating for Inclusion and Engagement: Ensuring refugees are active participants in designing and implementing solutions, fostering greater inclusion in decision-making processes.
Through RTSW, LHI uses storytelling as a powerful tool to advocate for community-driven, sustainable solutions to the challenges posed by global displacement.
